Eloi CHAZELAS, PhD is a public health epidemiologist and research engineer in the Social Epidemiology, Mental Health and Addictions [ESSMA] team of the Pierre Louis institute of epidemiology and public health (iPLesp/ INSERM UMR_S 1136). Following a Master’s degree in public health with a specialization in human nutrition, he completed a thesis in nutritional epidemiology at the Nutritional Epidemiology Research Team (EREN, Université Sorbonne Paris Nord), entitled “Exposure to food additives and risk of chronic pathologies: epidemiological approach”.
Based on data from the ELFE cohort (Etude Longitudinale Française depuis l’Enfance), he is interested in the role of the social and residential environment on the psychological development of children, and social inequalities in this area.
