Angèle CONSOLI is a Hospital Practitioner- University Professor in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department headed by Prof. David Cohen at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris (AP-HP), and at Sorbonne University. She has worked there for over twenty years, focusing on severe and resistant adolescent psychiatric pathologies.
Her clinical, teaching and research activities focus on two areas : (1) mood disorders, particularly bipolar disorders in adolescents, and (2) rare disorders with psychiatric manifestation (catatonic syndrome, autoimmune and genetic disorders, etc.).

She participates in the expertise, coordination and national development of the reference center network of rare diseases with psychiatric manifestation PsyRare , which is part of the DéfiScience sector. She is also attached to the INSERM- ESSMA unit (Social Epidemiology, Mental Health and Addictions), within iPLesp. She has or has had institutional responsibilities (Vice-President of the Collegiale de Psychiatrie de l’AP-HP, member of the CNUP board, scientific councils of patients’ associations, etc.). She was a member of the COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Board and is currently a member of the National Consultative Ethics Committee.
