Engineer

Axelle GELINEAU is an occupational therapist and holds a PhD in Clinical Research, Innovation, and Public Health. Specializing in digital health, she dedicated her doctoral research to the use of virtual reality for home-based neurological rehabilitation (European project RGS@HOME). Her expertise focuses on the evaluation of technological and therapeutic solutions aimed at optimizing care pathways and patient autonomy, particularly in neurology and geriatrics.

After working as a Project Manager at the Clinical Research and Innovation Department (DRCI) of GHU Paris (Institute of Neuromodulation), where she oversaw the technical, regulatory, and financial aspects of research projects, she joined the ESSMA team to manage the operational coordination of the IMPROVA project (Horizon Europe). In this role, she serves as the liaison with European Union partners and oversees the monitoring of scientific deliverables for this digital platform dedicated to adolescent mental health.
