In the Greater Paris area, the Mobile Tuberculosis Control Team (EMLT) has the primary mission of supporting patients with proven tuberculosis disease and at risk of non-compliance due to their precarious and isolated situation throughout their treatment. The EMLT provides medical and social support. It offers personalized support for each patient based on their needs (setting up pill boxes, accompanying them to medical or administrative appointments, leading group therapeutic education workshops, etc.). The EMLT followed approximately 2,500 people between 2004 and 2024, i.e. approximately 10% of the total number of patients ptients who reported this disease in the Greater Paris area over the same period (estimated data from Santé Publique France, based on mandatory declarations).

As part of its activity, the EMLT collects sociodemographic, medical, and social data. The objective of this research is to study the characteristics associated with positive (cure, end of treatment) or negative (lost to follow-up, death, relapse) treatment outcomes for patients monitored by EMLT; as well as those associated with the presence of treatment-resistant strains. These analyses will be compared with data from the general population of patients in the region.
