REPERES: Research on perinatal health and homelessness

The REPERES study (Research on perinatal health and homelessness) looks at the links between housing insecurity and perinatal health in the greater Paris area. It seeks to measure the impact of housing conditions on the health of mothers and their newborns, by examining in particular access to care, housing stability and medical follow-up. Two groups of women are being studied: those monitored by the Solipam network, and those living in social housing. Standardised scales are used to assess mental health indicators such as depression, suicide and post-traumatic stress disorder.
